On November 20, my family’s world was shattered when my dad passed away after suffering a stroke and a brain bleed. His loss has left us heartbroken and trying to navigate life without him. As if this wasn’t hard enough, the next day, we found out that my mom, who is currently battling breast cancer, had developed an infection from her recent surgery.

This journey started back in August when we learned that my mom’s breast cancer had returned after 12 years in remission. She underwent a double mastectomy and was preparing to start chemotherapy. However, complications arose, and she needed an additional surgery to remove lymph nodes before chemo could begin. A week after that procedure, she finally started treatment.

The past few months have been unimaginably difficult for our family. A dear friend of my brother’s created a GoFundMe page, and though we never thought we’d need it to this extent, we are so grateful for his kindness.

If you’re able to donate or share our story, it would mean so much to us. Every little bit helps as we try to support my mom in her fight and heal from the loss of my dad. Your prayers and kindness are deeply appreciated during this heartbreaking time.

First time doing the power wash technique. It was easier than I thought it would be. Made this for at
