Got milk? 🥛 June is Dairy Month! Originally established in 1937 as National Milk Month, it was created to help manage summer milk surpluses and support farmers.

Did you know Michigan ranks first in the nation for milk production, with approximately 850 dairy farms and 436,000 cows? Crooked Creek Farm Dairy is my local favorite.

To celebrate, I'm featuring this beautiful collection of Western Stoneware, produced in 1987 to commemorate the organization's 50th anniversary. Made in Monmouth, Illinois, it features a classic red and blue quilt star pattern. I love finding pieces like these—they're useful, decorative, and have a bit of history behind them. Plus, they blend perfectly with Fourth of July décor.

My cute and handy-dandy cake carrier made it a breeze to get this Hummingbird Cake over to a BBQ! I use the recipe from Southern Living Magazine, and the secret to a perfect cake is toasting the pecans first.

These cake carriers are getting harder and harder to find, especially the pastel-colored ones with a pie holder on top. I did manage to find a baby blue one for you, and she looks absolutely adorable on a kitchen shelf!
