With a degree from New York School of Interior Design, Kelsey Copeland Lane founded Copeland Studio in early 2020 after 6 years of dedicated studio practice and work for various high-end residential designers and an architecture firm in New York and Richmond, VA, where it is based. Copeland Studio is a full service Interior Design studio, with services including (but certainly not limited to) inte

rior architecture, design, custom furniture, custom textiles, art advisement, staging/styling, prop building, and set design. Using a creative problem-solving based approach, Copeland Studio aims to provide carefully considered solutions to problems that require a unique and artistic vision. Created with the idea that collaboration is a crucial part of life in a community, the studio aims to expand by engaging in one-of-a-kind collaborations with like-minded individuals.

Eternal painted lights
Handmade with silk, acrylic, coffee, raw oak, and lighting components.

Each is one-of-a-kind and switches on and off with a nickel plated rotary switch, and plugs in with a twisted cloth cord. They are intended to sit on a bookshelf, a nightstand, or wherever a dim ambient glow is desired. DM to purchase

lucidity, wall sculpture/ ledge made of African mahogany. I assembled this out of scraps from a coffee table I built a few years back. I always try and imagine something out of every material scrap I have in my studio. This little collage reminded me of the North Star and gave me comfort every time I looked at it over the past few years. Shown (second slide) is it holding a photo of my great grandmother, Juanita Copeland, who I’m named after. It only felt right to turn it into a new logo ✨
