The age-old of design question: What do I put in my bowls… Or do I leave them empty?🤔

The answer? It all depends on the bowl!

In today’s Saturday, Bridget Beari Design Tip video, I’m showing you a few of my favorite ways to style decorative bowls. Think lush moss balls, colorful pomegranates, elegant orchids, and even sculptural artichokes.

But here’s the real design rule: not every bowl needs to be filled. If a bowl is beautiful on both the inside and outside, let it shine all on its own. Sometimes filling it actually hides what makes it special.

✨Interesting bowl plus simple interior =add something
✨ beautiful bowl inside and out = leave it empty
✨ and remember, empty space is part of the design too!

So before you automatically fill that bowl, take a look at it. Maybe the bowl itself is the statement.

The secret to a beautifully styled bed? It’s all in the throw.

Throw at the bottom of the bed, adds that effortless, layered look, we love, but size matters!

Our rule of thumb is: make sure your throat has at least a 12 inch drop on each side of the bed. Anything too short can quickly give you that dreaded wet towel look instead of a polished Designer finish.😉

It’s a small detail that makes a big difference.

The secret to a beautifully designed bedroom isn’t always in the big pieces. Sometimes, it’s all about this little details that make the bed look, polished, tailored, and effortlessly put together. 🛌

For today’s Saturday Bridget Beari tip we’re taking you bedside and showing you one of our favorite finishing touches

First up: how to properly make a hospital corner with a flat sheet. There’s a reason this classic technique stood the test of time. A crisp clean corner instantly gives your bed that tailored professionally style look. I’ll show you exactly how to fold, tuck and get that corner just right.

Great design is often about knowing the rules, getting the proportions right and then adding your own personality.
