So much to celebrate today🥰🥰. My family got together to celebrate the matriarch of our family who would have turned 88 today 🥳🥳🥳.

I know she would have it no other way than for me to be celebrating 1 year cancer free on her birthday! I had my double mastectomy on April 17th 2025. That was nothing but God 🙌🏽.

While I was having my surgery, my nephew was being born! Happy 1st Birthday to Jr. 🎉🎉

Ma was busy up there!!!

Happy anniversary to Alex & Will who got married on my grandmas birthday a few years ago. I love y'all down ❤️.

I spent all day creating the perfect photo & video montage, only to find myself sitting in Dick's watching True try on baseball pants & admiring how much he has grown and matured over the years.

I was just sitting there daydreaming wondering if I had done it right, you know, raising him. And even though he didn't actually say anything...he didn't even know what I was thinking, I could hear him in my mind say, "I'm ok mom, you did a good job". And the way I started crying in that store.

I tried to hide it while he wasn't looking, but he caught me. And when he asked why I was crying I said, I'm just enjoying watching you try on your stuff. But the truth is, I was just so grateful to be alive to watch him do it.

But I'm even more grateful for the intelligent, handsome, kind, funny, considerate, well-mannered, & well-behaved young man he is. I'm proud to be your mom. ❤️

Ladies, when your man says let's take a ride, just get in the car! I was about to spend my day "catching-up" on housework & getting prepped for the week ahead, & my husband said absolutely not!

He always knows exactly what I need to take the edge off 😊.

Now the laundry is still sitting here looking at us 😩, but I had an amazing day.

Love that man 🥰 (& his whole family for real. I have the best family in-law! ❤️)

March really is mad. As I approached the second anniversary of my grandmother's passing, I did not expect my beloved dog Enzo to follow in her footsteps.

Which is wild because he and my grandmother had this magnetic connection. She didn't even like dogs! I know it sounds crazy but I really did expect both of them to live forever. I know she up there feeding him from the table 😂.

I really miss you both. It ain't the same without y'all here. 💔

Kids literally getting off the bus with shorts on, mine didn't even have on a jacket, and the snow is actually sticking to the roof and grass. I guess Punxsutawney Phil was right. 😩
