When updating a kids' hall bath, the goal is balancing everyday durability with timeless style that grows alongside the family. A primary bath built to last for decades.

In this primary bathroom overhaul, warm maple cabinetry in a Vintage Ash finish adds natural depth against crisp white subway tile, a custom glass shower enclosure, and classic marble-look hexagon floor tile. Neutral doesn't mean quiet. White quartz, soft gray walls, large-format floor tile. Then one accent color and lighting with a point of view. The linear sconces mount onto the mirror rather than the wall, and the makeup vanity floats so the floor keeps running underneath it. That's the modern formula: a restrained base, deliberate accents.

A barrier-free shower that doesn't look like one. This basement bath was built as a wet room: the floor pitched two inches, a linear drain along the back wall, and one fixed glass panel instead of a door or a curb. The tile runs continuously from floor to wall, which makes a small room read longer than it is. Modern design is function first. The look follows.
