Hello and welcome to Groovy Cat Gifts! My name is Alexa, and I own and operate Groovy Cats alongside my husband, Zach in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to opening Groovy Cats, I worked as a case manager for youth in foster care. After leaving such a high-stress position, I realized I needed to pivot to a more creative and upbeat career path – and voila – Groovy Cats Gifts was born!
We chose the name for our shop as an ode to our own groovy (and chonky) cats, TJ and Theo.
Our goal is simple: Provide whimsical, quirky, and affordable gifts that bring laughs and smiles to our customers’ faces. All of our products are handmade and designed by us, and and inspired by things we all know and love, for example, pickleball, childhood nostalgia, unique 3D wall art that seems to get more complicated the longer you stare at it (IYKYK).
