What an amazing Easter weekend celebrating the good news of our salvation. We started the weekend with a moving Tenebrae service to contemplate the enormous price that Jesus paid for us on the cross. And this morning, our family joined us at church as Jeff and I both got baptized to declare our faith. I’ve been a “Christian” my whole life but it has taken years (ok … decades) to dig back into my Bible and really open my heart fully to a relationship with God. It has been an absolute blessing in my life! He is risen ✝️

Today I have so much to be thankful for! I thank God that He brought into this world 59 years ago on this day. I thank God that He brought this man into my life 33 years ago. I’ve been blessed to walk with him through life, raise an amazing family, grow in faith and celebrate many of life’s most important moments together. Happy Birthday Jeff. I love you!

I had so much fun designing our table for the event yesterday and today. The theme this year “Where stories unfold.” Thirty designers were invited to create magical tables based on a beloved children’s book. If my fascinator doesn’t give it away, I selected Alice in Wonderland and I’m channeling my inner Helena Bonham Carter portrayal of the Queen of Hearts.

Sharing a little tile eye candy from showing at KBIS. The collaboration will be finding a home in one of my projects soon! And all of the beautiful shades of terracotta, greens and soft dusty roses inspired by the colors of Mexico were amazing! Hanging in the Delta Sky Club at JFK waiting for my final leg to Las Vegas for the 2025 KBIS show. So it seemed appropriate to share one of my favorite kitchen projects … mine! Going to shows like this helps me find great inspiration, and awesome vendors with unique products I can incorporate in our projects. This sculptured wood panel detail that I used was a KBIS find from a few years ago. I’ll never get tired of this! I love how our dining room came together with the leather banquette at the back, the woven textile wallpaper from , my gorgeous rug and the quirky Chinoiserie fabric for my drapery. And that vintage chandelier bounces a fun carnival of color around the whole space. Big family dinners in this room are joyful and create a mood that you don’t want to interrupt by getting up from the table. My goal in all of the homes I design is to create spaces that embrace your soul and personality and make you want to stay and relax with people you love. Goal achieved! 📸

I absolutely love the new rug we got into the studio! It’s a terrific combination of colors and textures. Swipe to see an image of the whole rug which is 10’ x 14’ and hand knotted.
