UPDATE;
I have so much to share! šBoth good news & some bad. Not Awful, just bad.
Both shops are coming along REALLY good! BUT.....
You all know how I hate to miss deadlines! The deadline we set to reopen this weekend is NOT possibleš
The work needed was more extensive than we anticipated & unfortunately delays have made it necessary to push reopening to September 10th.
This is not at all what we wanted. Our contractors along with the work my husband & I are doing is time consuming. It's work we want done right & only once.
The brickwork we had done at Main St. Mercantile & CO. is finally complete! The inside back walls look AMAZING! We also removed more plaster back there as well as opened back up an original window!!! Although the glass won't be in until after we reopen the vision is there!šThe rest of the renovations are moving along but for now, mostly cleaning the dust from the brick & plaster!š¤®It's awful! We have LOTS of help cleaning (thanks vendors) and when we reopen it will be so good!!!
Floras has been getting her fair share too!
Painting that never was finished from when we opened almost 8 years ago, now getting done! As well as a few other surprises!āŗļø

All our vendors in BOTH shops have been working So hard to have SO much fall & halloween for you when we reopen! I promise you, it will be worth the wait!
This renovation is making so many of my dreams for these buildings come true. The BEST is yet to come!š See you all September 10th at 11am.
