Every person is unique and gets excited by different colors, patterns, styles, functions, flows, feelings, textures, and ok.. budgets. We love figuring out each of our client's unique tastes. A special reading spot over at the Lake Anna log cabin project! We like crafting spaces that you've never seen before.. total one-of-a-kinds. It can be simple, but something about it is unique and welcoming. Our goal is for our client's guests to not feel the presence of the interior designer behind the project, but to believe that our clients just have amazing taste and put the room together themselves. So.. what's that called? A shadow designer?

A shot of the living room at the Lake Anna log cabin project! A midcentury log cabin? ADORE. We added that glass block wall to close the living room off from the front door. It makes such a big difference, and now the living room is a cozy destination instead of just another pass through in a loop around the house. New window treatments (our favorite kind), new sofa, new pillows, throws, new lights and antique rug and ottoman. I'll post another photo soon so you can get a view of the black bear side table. It IS a log cabin!

Hi! Hello! This is our client's dining room in a cabin on Lake Anna and we want to hang out here all day, then play board games with them all night. This was such a fun project because we got to do everything! New flooring, new paint, new light fixtures, new furniture (and some antiques), new art and decor, new rugs.. what a good time! Keep your eyes peeled for all the photos of this project coming soon.

For all the pottery/coffee/tea lovers out there.. this moment of zen is something my client gets to enjoy everyday. Each handmade and unique vessel lovingly selected for this artistic display which also doubles as storage for her daily used mugs.
In the long shot, you are looking what used to be a separate butler's pantry, but we took the wall down and added a string of windows to brightens up the whole place.
