Today we are welcoming Stone Soup Batiks from South Bend, IN to our 2026 Indiana Quilt Show.

What's in a Name?

Batik fabrics are just beautiful and the story of Stone Soup always fascinated us; it is a children's story of how a community of people who didn't have much, got together, pooled their resources and made something greater that everyone benefited from.

What if everyone did get together and help each other out? Imagine how much better the world would be. Here at Stone Soup Batiks we have a passion for creativity, a love for community, and a desire to make a space where people can come and be inspired.

Come check us out and let me know how we can help YOU create!

Join us in welcoming Sew Harmony from McHenry, IL to our 2026 Indiana Quilt Show.

Hi, I'm Melodie.
I love crafting and do-it-yourself projects.
I love quilting. I even love free motion quilting.

But I don't love the stress and hassle of deciding what to quilt on each area of a project.

SEW * HARMONY stencils were created so that I could stitch beautiful edge-to-edge designs without sending my quilts to a long-armer.

Our three signature stencils offer an incredible array of quilting designs for you to finish your projects. More than anything, I am excited for others to experience the joy I've found in using these stencils. Using stencils has expanded my skills in Free Motion Quilting. It has freed me from struggling to come up with a new or creative design for each block when FMQ. And it has empowered me to finish my works in progress that have been piling up over the years.

Today we welcome another new vendor, Alice Ridge Quilts from Bloomington, IN
Alice Ridge is an accomplished quilter, instructor, and speaker ...and an experienced world traveler. Over the last forty years, she has combined her love of travel and fiber arts to create and teach a variety of quilting techniques to include Japanese Sashiko and Boro, Korean Pojagi and Saeksilnubi, Central American Molas, English Paper Piecing, Celtic Knotwork, Hawaiian Needle turn Appliqué, and African Kawandi and Kantha stitching.
Alice is also well-versed in traditional hand and machine-quilting techniques. A former military spouse, Alice Ridge, has travelled the world with her husband and moved 22 times during his 35-year Army career. During those travels, she learned various quilting, stitching, weaving, and fiber arts techniques unique to the countries in which they lived and visited. These experiences inspired her to create her own unique designs which she sells through her online business, AliceRidgeQuilts.com

In addition, Alice will be teaching two classes- Sashiko and Boro and Hawaiian Applique:
