Work has officially begun on Willow Circle, a 228-unit residential community planned for the Willow Lawn corridor in Henrico County, and smbw is honored to be part of the team making it happen. We are leading amenity interior design for the project, with a focus on spaces including a game room, fitness center, pet spa, and sky lounge. Our approach is grounded in the site's mid-century history, with the goal of creating spaces that genuinely reflect and serve the surrounding community.

Some buildings carry a century of stories in their walls. The YWCA Richmond has been empowering women and families in this city since 1887 and it was our honor to help write the next chapter. Our redesign of this 110 year old landmark breathed new life into the space, creating a modern hub anchored in a century of strong legacy.

Our Principal, Andres Pacheco, touched down in Chicago for the AIA Committee on Design Spring Conference joining architects and designers from across the country.

While the architecture of the Windy City never disappoints, it was the brilliant minds he connected with that left the deepest impression. The exchange of ideas, perspectives, and passion for design is what makes gatherings like this so valuable.

Kudos to the AIA COD and to all kind accomplished architects who attend that make this possible.
