A steep backyard slope turned into something you can actually use.
Four tiers of retaining wall now hold garden beds, paver walkways between the levels, and built-in steps that tie it all together. A hillside that used to be wasted space is now somewhere to plant, walk and spend time.
If you’ve got a slope out back, fall is a good time to start planning so it’s ready by spring.
