Master Bedroom Phase 1: remove side cupboards damaged in the 2019 earthquakes, remove wall shelf with CPK collection (Jeff is happy about this), paint the sand colored walls and ceiling white, paint one wall gold (more ideas for this wall to come), install 4 1/2" baseboards to match the rest of the house, replace builder's grade door casing, and update all switch covers.

2025 in review = 23 quilts DONE + 2 FPP pillows + 2 Xmas pillows + 6 placemats. 11 of these projects were started in 2014 and earlier!!

Lazy Sundays mean 5 hours in the craft room to complete my set of 6 Christmas placemats and Merry Christmas wall hanging using Angela Walter's panels and free motion quilting online class.

This class was all about outlining applique, background fillers, and echo quilting. There is so much beautiful texture

Christmas projects are full speed ahead! So far this weekend I have completed two Christmas lap quilts, one embroidered moose (his name is Forrest) wall hanging, and 2 Christmas pillowcases!!!

FINISHED!!! Quilting and binding done! I quilted mostly feather designs on every inch of this quilt. I am really happy with the finished look. I added the peekaboo binding with a sparkly gold accent. I'm also showing the back because I used several large pieces of fabric sewn together to show that doing that is ok, too.

This is my 18th completed quilt in 2025. This one was started in 2014-ish so it is a HUGE deal to me that it is done 😀

My weekend/personal retreat in San Diego: sewed 11 soft books to add to my stash of quick baby gifts, sewed 2 cat toys/books for my grand kitty, kitty sat my grand kitty with absolutely no thanks from the grand kitty, experienced my first scalp massage (loved it!), watched no less than 5 full movies and 2 series, ate Ramen, Nothing Bundt Cake, and Raising Cane's, and bought much needed supplies to complete 4 more quilts :-) It's been a good weekend...I may never leave
