We built the shower using a Schluter-Systems North America shower system, finished it with marble-look porcelain tile, a contrasting pebble shower floor and niche, and installed both a large rainfall showerhead and standard showerhead for the client.
Outside the shower, we installed the freestanding jetted tub along with a custom-built tiled ledge behind it, perfect for plants, candles, or décor. The patterned floor ties everything together and gives the room some character without taking away from the shower.
One of the most important parts of this remodel is something you might never notice. We take the extra time to make sure our walls are flat and level before we tile. Why does that matter? Large-format tile will show every dip and high spot in a wall. Proper prep helps prevent that wavy, uneven look and gives you straighter lines and a cleaner finished product. It’s an extra step that not everyone notices but we believe it’s worth doing right!
