📍. A-Frame Cabin in the Catskills Mountains
The Design Psychology of an A-Frame Cabin 🍂🏕️
There’s something about an A-frame in the Catskills that makes your nervous system exhale.
The steep roof creates a sense of shelter.
The warm wood brings the outdoors inside.
The mountain air clears mental clutter.
Fall makes it even better, the changing leaves, crisp air, soft light, and that cozy feeling of being tucked away from the world.
Maybe we’re not just drawn to cabin design because it’s beautiful.
Maybe we’re drawn to it because it makes us feel safe enough to slow down. 🍁
