Summer, but make it elevated.

I’m not a full “coastal theme” girl—but I am all about capturing the feeling of summer at home.

Think:
• Lighter layers
• Natural textures
• A little more breathing room
• Pieces that feel collected, not styled to perfection

It’s less about decorating for the season…
and more about letting your home exhale a bit.

This is your reminder that a summer refresh doesn’t have to mean a full overhaul—sometimes it’s just editing, swapping, and letting the good pieces shine.

If you’re looking around your home thinking “I know it could feel better, I just don’t know what to do next…”

That’s exactly what my Designer By Your Side service is for.

We work together in real time—editing, refining, sourcing, and making decisions so your space actually comes together (without the overwhelm).

Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today we pause to remember and honor those who have served and sacrificed.

It also marks the unofficial start of summer—and I don’t know about you, but we are ready.

Long dinners outside, salty air, kids running barefoot, and a calendar that somehow fills up faster than we expect.

This summer I’m looking forward to:
• Slowing down (even just a little)
• More nights at home with friends
• Finishing a few spaces that have been “almost there”
• And soaking up all the inspiration New England does so well

What’s on your summer list?

What’s the difference between decorated and designed?

Decorated spaces look good.
Designed spaces work.

Decorating is about what you see —
pillows, art, color, styling.

Design is about what you feel —
flow, scale, balance, and how a space supports your life.

A decorated room can be beautiful…
but still feel off.

A designed room feels effortless, cohesive, and complete — even if you can’t immediately explain why.

That difference?
It’s intentional.

If your space looks good but doesn’t feel quite right, this is exactly where we come in.

We’re heading to St. Petersburg, FL to work on a 1930s bungalow that absolutely oozes charm.

Our focus? A second-floor built-in and a furnishing revamp that makes the most of a smaller footprint.

Designing in older homes is never about adding more — it’s about being intentional with every decision.

Luckily, we’ve had a lot of practice with this (Sea Glass Cottage will always have our heart).

Can’t wait to bring this one to life.

Small spaces can be tricky — but with the right plan, they can be incredibly impactful. If you need help, I’d love to hear from you.

A true decorating project.

No renovation.
No walls moved.
No major construction.

Just custom furnishings scaled properly for the space, tailored window treatments, updated light fixtures, and wallpaper to bring depth and warmth.

And yet… the transformation is significant.

This is the power of thoughtful design — refining what’s already there and elevating it with intention.

Swipe to see where we started. If you’re wondering whether you need a renovation or just better design, let’s talk.

“Less, but better.”

This project wasn’t about starting over — it was about refining, layering, and bringing cohesion to a home that already had a strong foundation.

We focused on what was working, elevated what wasn’t, and created spaces that feel warm, unified, and intentional… without unnecessary spending.

This is one of my favorite ways to design.

If your home feels “almost there,” this is exactly what we do.

Wallpaper Wednesday.

Same room.
Completely different feeling.

This is what happens when you add depth, texture, and intention to a space.

Wallpaper isn’t just decorative — it creates architecture where there isn’t any. It adds mood, scale, and a level of finish that paint alone often can’t achieve.

If a room in your home feels flat or unfinished, this is usually where I start.

Because sometimes the transformation isn’t about more…
it’s about layering better.

Three consultations… and a magazine cover.

We worked together at key moments along the way - refining the vision, making decisions, and keeping everything aligned.

She handled the implementation and project management, and the result is a space that feels thoughtful, elevated, and entirely her own.

April was a blur…

Spring break escapes, track meets and soccer games on repeat, design days that turns into styling nights- and yes, the cat got a haircut.

Somewhere between carpools and color palettes, it all moved a little too fast. The kind of month that reminds you… don’t blink, or you will miss the magic.

A little bit of everything, and somehow not enough of it.

The difference between a nice room and a designed room?

It’s not the budget.
It’s not the furniture.

It’s the plan behind it.

Every space in this project—from bedroom to gym—started with intentional layouts and thoughtful layering.

That’s what creates a home that feels elevated and livable.
