Snippets from the past few weeks. Wallpaper install in Westport, construction progress in New Canaan, site visits in Brooklyn, and design schemes upon design schemes in between… it’s been a whirlwind of a season (year, really). As always, so grateful to my clients, builders, and vendor partners who make our ideas come to life.

So many of my dreams come true represented in an image. So grateful for my sweetest son on this my first Mother’s Day.

A dedicated post to my love for hardware.

So many amazing hardware moments in this home. My fave in slide 4!! The little keyhole cover on grasscloth ❤️

Rule of thumb is to keep consistency throughout the home with door k***s and switch plates. Then you can start playing with shapes, profiles, and proportions on the cabinetry and millwork.
The switch plates actually came with the house and I always try to save these beautiful features as much as we can.
We kept the finishes mostly in unlacquered brass (my favorite) throughout. The warmth and patina add such a lived-in feel.

These little details make all the difference!!

I’m not a big trends person. I love classic things and advocate for things that you truly love because if it’s truly you then you will love it forever (or for a very very long time!). But still I have many thoughts on trends, so when asked me what trend I would like to see left behind in 2026, this was my response!

Featuring the cozy Living Room in our New Canaan CT project. Lots of wood finishes being mixed in here. I try to not match wood finishes perfectly— I think it can feel a bit flat and unnatural. Instead, it’s important to look complementing tones and textures to create depth in a way that feels organic and not too forced.
In this room, we mixed an antique tansu chest, a new custom white oak coffee table, and a reclaimed pine sofa console. The various frames on the gallery wall are yet another layer that add so much warmth to the room.

Thanks , it was fun to contribute!

In pursuit of softness.

Soft light. Soft seats. Soft places to land. Soft voices.
It may be my newly acquired motherly instincts, but in reflecting on this past year and thinking of the year ahead, I’m leaning into all the soft things. Wishing everyone a lovely and soft holiday season.

That magical moment when you see something you selected months ago finally getting installed. ✨

Big week for our Weston CT project! Our builder has installed most of the light and plumbing fixtures, and we delivered the first round of furniture. The layers are starting to come together in this incredibly charming home for my clients, the sweetest family!

The first few slides show the progress in the powder room, an absolute jewel box of a space. The oak paneling details, the carved stone sink, the mirrors, and maybe one of my fave ideas I’ve ever had— a sculptural sconce as a table lamp for that glowing reflection that makes everyone look and feel good. Already the most special room. And the taps and wallpaper haven’t even been installed yet! More to come!!

Maternity leave looks a little different for me than most! I can’t believe it’s been almost a whole month since we welcomed our sweet baby boy! I feel so lucky and grateful to my clients and many trade partners that have allowed me the space and time to heal and enjoy this special time, while carrying on the projects and executing the work so perfectly.

I’ve been getting photo updates from our builder and clients of our Weston CT renovation project, but nothing beats an actual site visit. I finally got to walk through yesterday after a few weeks away. Beyond proud of what we’ve created here!! It’s always so fun and unreal to see our designs go from inspiration and drawings to actual spaces to live in. We are well into the finishing stages with paint, decorative hardware, and soon will see installed light and plumbing fixtures. Furniture install is next month!!

On a personal note, motherhood has been an incredibly wild ride so far— the physiological, biological, and emotional experiences I’ve had have been unbelievable. The body is capable of amazing things. I am in awe of every mother and woman. A whole new appreciation and perspective has opened up for me. So much love and gratitude to all my family and friends who have made this time so special with heartfelt words and gifts to celebrate our little family!

Beautiful things in progress at our Weston CT project! The custom solid wood oak island with the stunning Monet marble stone slab is such a centerpiece in the kitchen. Every detail is considered to the 1/16”. The legs are custom turned according to my drawings, which is a dream to have executed so perfectly.

And a lot more happening around the rest of the house too! Can’t wait to see the beautiful fixtures installed— see slides 3-4 for the most exquisite faucet handles completely handmade on Jane St in New York by .e.guerin . We also have a lot of fun millwork and custom tile details that just make this home so special.

Quiet, earthy, textured, traditional. A mix of my all favorite things for this cozy Living Room in New Jersey. Going to miss this view! Already packed up most of these things in preparation for our move this week! Bittersweet to leave this home but so excited for the next one.

Mixing vintage, antique, and new pieces, all with the goal of not being able to tell what exactly is new or old. It all tells a story and becomes a warm inviting spot to read and share a cup of tea— the simple everyday things.

Pretty things happening in our Brooklyn project! 😍❤️

I keep meaning to post more project updates and then get caught up doing something, and tell myself oh I’ll have time to post later. But now at 31 weeks pregnant and moving whole houses next week I think it’s finally dawning on me that I will never have enough time 😂. So here we go, a few updates! We’ve had custom millwork, drapery, wallpaper, furniture installed… it’s looking so cozy and lovely here. Still waiting on some art to be reframed and finishing touches, but I’m so thrilled at how much warmth and personal story we’ve created in what used to just be a white box!

Grateful to be able to do this work. Creating homes that are personal and full of story for sweet clients… it’s truly the best. 💕
