Today MSDH is reporting an additional 370 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and nine deaths.
Six of these deaths occurred between February 25 and March 2, and three deaths occurred between January 21 and February 23, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases is now 790,986, with 12,124 deaths.
There are currently 73 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.

VACCINATIONS AND BOOSTERS
Fully vaccinated individuals with a current booster dose are the most highly protected against severe illness from the Omicron variant of COVID-19. Vaccinations and boosters are free and available at any MSDH county health department or from hundreds of providers statewide. Third vaccine doses and booster doses are now available through county health departments for those who qualify. More information at https://msdh.ms.gov/boosters
