No la llamaban débil. La llamaban guerrera.

Nochpiltzin, notlazohtzin cihuātl
Hija mía, mujer muy amada.

Ticuāuhyotl, ticōcoyotl
Has sido águila, has sido jaguar.

Ticchīuh in yaōtl
Has librado la batalla.

Ticnēnemi in tlālli īhuān in mictlān

Ticnēnemi quēmah in tōnantzin Cihuacóatl, Quilaztli
Has imitado a nuestra madre Cihuacóatl.

In cihuātl yaōtl, in tēyōlīa
Mujer guerrera, dadora de vida.

In Tōtecuiyo mitztemōlli
Nuestro Señor te ha mirado.

Mitzīca in icpalli, in tēuctli yaōtl
Y te ha colocado entre los valientes.

Ximoyōlli, xicmocēhuia
Descansa ahora tu corazón.

Ca ticchīuh in huel tequitl
Has cumplido una gran obra.

In yolia tlācatl, in quetzalli, in chalchihuitl
