Looks like a good place for a door but sadly it’s a wall that was completely rotted out because of what appears to be a roof leak, home remodeling can have some nasty surprises. Things like this can be unfortunate to the customers but will only get worse if not brought to their attention.

When you work on a house that has never seen a level or a square, you sometimes have to get creative and that’s what you see here, my joist are 16in centered and the ones that I am meeting on the other side are thrown under the house just anyway they could get them, one wasn’t even on the foundation it was so crooked. With all that straightened out I’ve started the new plumbing. Long slow week but with much progress. PS. Anyone with the Milwaukee expansion tool for PEX A, please let me know if it is worth the investment as a general contractor.
