Anybody can make the “after” picture look pretty. It’s the picture on the left that tells you whether somebody knew what they were doing.
This one took a little head scratching.
We installed a Kozy Heat Nordik 36 direct-vent gas fireplace in a pretty specialized application where space was tight and clearance requirements weren’t exactly interested in negotiating with us.
So before any stone went up and before it looked like something you’d actually want in your living room, we had to design and build the entire installation around the fireplace’s required clearances — framing, venting, mantel location, surrounding materials… all of it.
Because “ehhh, that oughta be far enough away” is generally frowned upon when fire is involved.
The result?
A clean, finished fireplace that looks like it was always supposed to be there — and an installation behind it that we know was done right.
That’s the part of these projects most people never see.
We don’t just sell fireplaces. We figure out how to make them work in the real world.
