It is with both sadness and excitement that I announce that I am closing Ghent Hill.
I started Ghent Hill 25 years ago and have since had the enormous privilege of designing thousands of pieces of furniture for families and businesses alike.
I have had the joy of watching client’s children grow up and have had my own kids grow and contribute to the shop in some way or another.
Through Ghent Hill, I have developed lifelong friendships with so many people that I will continue to hold dear and love like family.
I am thankful to have collaborated with some fantastic local business owners to design and build beautiful yet functional focal pieces.
Over the years, I have worked hand-in-hand with many talented local and regional interior designers to create one-of-a-kind furniture and I have had the honor of preserving countless loved family heirlooms.
That said, it’s time to move on to something else.
In order to shoot for an August closing, we will not be taking on new projects so that we may focus on completing jobs currently in the shop. In addition, we will be having a sale in the coming weeks for those interested in miscellaneous items that we need to get rid of. We will post a date shortly.
Aimee and I thank you for being part of our Ghent Hill family – we couldn’t have done it without you.
Cheers.
Tom
