As we fight off one last snow storm this weekend (we hope) it has come that time where I am beginning to schedule mowers and garden/yard equipment. If you’d like to get your machine prepped for spring mowing feel free to reach out 651-373-2301 and we can get something on the calendar as early as next week or as far out as you’d like.

PSA—As the freezing temps encroach and we put our pressure washers to bed, a friendly reminder that in addition to removing the fuel from the tank and draining the carb, grab yourself a can of pump saver from your local hardware store.

Hook it up to the water line and press the button until it comes out of the wand hose hookup. Remove the hose and wand from the pump first and add plumbers grease to those threads, o-rings etc. This antifreeze fluid pushes water out and saves the pump from water damage when left in the cold temps over winter. ~ Stephen

Ok folks! That’s the email I was waiting for! That means the winter inventory switch is happening the 10th-12th— which also means they are on par for me to begin booking snowblowers for Sept 15th and beyond!

Greetings— after spending 18-20
Hour days all summer doing my best to provide service to everyone I’m able to—it’s time for a break.

I am closed Aug 1st-Aug 17th and will be in Italy/Ireland so I will not be reachable via phone. You can reach out here on messenger if you need to set something up for when I return and I will occasionally check FB or Texts.

Thank you for allowing me to servie your needs this summer. See you when we’re back stateside.

UPDATE: Mower has been sold.

Many people call weekly and ask if I have any mowers for sale. The answer is always the same—I’m sorry but I don’t at this time. I’m usually too busy working on machines to have time to find one to fix up and sell. I now have this one for sale. It’s been gone through too to bottom.

New Blade ($20), New Rear Baffle ($15), New Blade Driver ($28), New Drive Belt ($18), New waterproof fuse box and fuse ($12), New Commercial Grade NGK Spark Plug ($6), New Air Filter and Pre Filter ($13), Fresh Synthetic 10w30 oil ($8), carb cleaned, valves adjusted, all pivots lubricated, cable adjusted, starter lubricated, new grass bag ($55) and New Battery Charger ($23). That’s $198.00 worth of new parts installed.

Full tune-up has been performed. It has traction assist handle added ($20 value) for help with smaller yards and tight turns (blue handle). Newer wheels all around (a season old). This is what I consider to be the last of the decent deck designs from Toro. The new ones are chincy with thin wheels that break and a cheap handle design like a baby stroller.

$352.71 after tax— credit card accepted. Delivery available. 30 day service warranty and a free tune-up next season (you pay for parts and a trip charge if applicable). More photos in comments.

I certainly don’t have to sell it as I’m considering keeping it for myself :)

Just a friendly reminder— please always leave a callback number. I do get a lot of calls to which I have no way to reach out to them. If it registers as unknown and no number is left in the message ‘m dead in the water regarding a response. I’d love to help and call you back, but if you’ve left a message and haven’t heard back from me this is likely why. I do hope the gentleman found a solution! Happy Spring!

It’s has come to that time of the year where we say goodbye to the white stuff and look forward to the green! I am now scheduling walk behind mower and tiller tune ups as well as generators. Pressure washers will likely begin in early to mid April if the weather is warm enough to turn on the water and leave it on.

PSA— mowers created from 1990-2015 were a whole new level of quality compared to those 2019 and beyond. 2016-2018 were decently made. Before you decide to toss away your old machine to “upgrade” to a new machine—think twice. You’re not only downgrading based on quality of build, but lack of power also. Keep your older machine running if you can—you’ll never find another one built better than what you have now!

It’s that time of the year where we shuck those snowy thoughts (or lack there of) and shift towards the greener side of life. March 1st is the general date where I shift to scheduling mowers and tillers to get those blades sharp, oil and air filter changed and clean out any of those nasty mouse nests that were made over the winter in your lawnmower (yuck)! If you’d like a spring tune-up, feel free to reach out @ 651-373-2301 after March 1st and I’ll be happy to get you added to the calendar.

** March 1st falls a Friday this year and I happen to be out of town that day — but if you leave a message on the 1st I will get back to you the 4th, 5th or 6th (depending on the amount of calls) to make sure you’re scheduled and ahead of the spring rush!

**** Pressure washers usually begin late April when I’m able to turn the water back on for the year.

MAINTENCE TIP: Thank you to everyone who allowed me to prep their machines for Winter, with the warm weather I’m finally slowing down some and have a moment to post something on here. 18-20 hour days hasn’t allowed much time for social media.

With warm weather approaching and little to no snow predicted for Feb—DONT forget about your snowblowers. If it’s been sitting with fuel in it ready to go for awhile — get it out and fire it up this weekend since the weather will be nice. Even if you’re using Non-oxy fuel (which I hope you all are), it may be summer blend fuel from when you were using your lawnmower. Cycle it through and don’t let it sit in your carburetor getting stale.

Highly highly highly recommend using Startron Enzyme treatment to stabilize and prevent phase separation in sitting fuel. 1 cap in each tank gives superior protection. Running your machine 10 minutes once a month will keep it fresh and ready to go!

We’ve lived here long enough to know March and April “can” bring some brutal snow! Keep your machine ready to go just in case! There’s nothing worse than it not starting the moment it’s called in for the game!

Take Care,

Stephen

The switch has occurred and it’s no joke! On April 1st lawn equipment has begun being serviced and we have have said goodbye or “good riddance” to the snowblower after this crazy winter! If you plan to get a spring tune up, don’t wait too long April is filling up fast but plenty of spots in May are open also! We welcome the green grass that’s been hiding for so long I’m sure!
