It seemed like most of the vacations I had as a kid were camping at state parks. My parents let us run around through the wood all day. We only came back for food and building supplies. We built a lot of forts out of fallen trees, sandstone and all the twine we could find. I am sure the animals made homes out of them when they we left. Since those early days I always kind of thought as the woods as my 2nd home. This project bring me back to those summers.
This State Cutout rustic art is all wood construction is hand stained with multiple tones to fit in with most room decors. The "home" ribbon, also wood, in an eye catching highlight that visitors will find delightful.
When talking with my friends about their childhood vacations they all have some version of this. They were let loose all day to ski mountains, fish lakes, float rivers, ride trails. I hope you have a 2nd home out there as well.
