More fun and more cuties to come-- here's a WIP.

Let me know what else I should stitch to this hoop of brooches!

Now to relax into the weekend and get stitching. 😌

Such an adorable embroidered ghost friend who will be holding flowers and have some shimmering accents & beading when done. 🥰

I'm going to combine days 8 and 9 for which are "finishing touches" and "trial and error" because there was a lot of trial and error that went into my favorite finishing touch to any felted piece-- adding plants. 🥰🌿✨️

I've used airplants and lichens because they don't require a soil substrate and the felted sculptures can be watered/misted right alongside the plant! I have tried a dab of compatible glue but didn't love the results, you have to be really careful not to get the adhesive on the leaves of the airplant. I've just wedged and shoved them in, which is good for interchangeability but can sometimes have them flop out 🫣😅 So I think my new favorite method is stitching them down gently at a few strategically placed tack points. That's what I did with this mermaid's lichen pillow and I'm satisfied. 😌

Airplant securely glued with non-damaging adhesive, the whole planter is perfect for airplants to be either misted or soaked in non-chlorinated water weekly or as needed based on your climate. Won't damage or change the felted sculpture! 💗
