Ever had a candle where the wax didn’t melt all the way to the edges? That’s called *tunneling* — and it usually means the candle was wicked improperly.
When we bring in a new container, we don’t just pour and hope for the best. Every vessel gets its own wick test to make sure it burns correctly, evenly, and safely.
This little test candle is burning with a **CD 20 wick**, and we’re carefully tracking the burn time and melt pool to see how it performs in this jar. A proper wick should create a full melt pool across the top without overheating the glass.
It’s one of those behind-the-scenes steps that most people never see — but it’s how we make sure your candle burns **clean, even, and all the way to the edge**.
Because a good candle shouldn’t waste a drop of wax. 🔥🕯️
