Tip of the day. The number one mistake people make when growing autoflowers, they start the seedlings off in smaller pots and then transplant. This works great for photoperiods.
However, it is the absolute worse thing one can do. The size of your auto is directly related to the growth of the taproot. Once the taproot reaches the bottom of a pot it stops growing. So if you start out in a 3 inch pot, your root ball will be about three inches.
Not everyone can start out their autos in their forever home. So if you do need to transplant do it within a few days from sprouting. The most I would go is 7 days.
