We enjoyed our recent visit to the Beautiful North Shore. While some may order their stones to use in making jewelry, we do not. Larry hand picks each stone, hand cuts, tumbles batches of stones for 5-6 weeks then looks at each stone and how it will be used. We also have jars of North Shore Stones for sale, for those that just love rocks. You can find our Cut & Tumbled jewelry atThe yellow monkey in Rochester. Here are examples of our Cut&Tumbled earrings. We collect the stones to make our earrings from the beaches of Lake Superior and other MN lakes/rivers. Each stone then needs to be cut into thin slices, shaped and polished before drilling a hole to make into an earring. Each pair is one of a kind… no two are alike. Below you will see a variety of North Shore Rock Pendants ( jasper, quartz, agates, feldspar, chert) that we are selling (without a chain) for those customers who have favorite chains at home to use with the pendants. As always our rocks are all handpicked by Larry and not bought from outlets or online. Larry cuts to shape needed, tumbles for several weeks and then designs for use for earrings or necklaces.
