I hope everybody is staying cool. The heat is too much this week. My Gracie is hosting 20 girls this weekend at the house for a bachelorette party. I wanted to share some vintage food covers that I have. These covers will come in handy when bringing food out. One is made of a natural fiber. The other one is made of old screen. They are so cute.

Long time no post. I was working on some furniture in my driveway and I need help picking out some cabinet holes. Do you guys like a the wood k***s or be the little tassel ones?

All this stuff is for sale. I still have to price it so message me if interested.

I’ve sanded it and I’m just gonna leave it as is I tend to like furniture that way. If you look at all the different white colors they’re all different. I love the look of combined neutrals.

I have two bird houses on stands for sale if interested. I bought these at the estate sale this weekend and they are not going to work out. If anybody wants one, let me know. They’re from Marshalls TJ Maxx, HomeGoods one of those stores they’re $30 each. The birdhouse has a little slant to it. The birdhouse measures 60 inches tall the feeder is about 57 inches tall.

Sometimes when I post things they take on a life of their own. I was trying to display the easel and now I’m gonna sell other things to go with the easel.
I have two wine, cork message boards, and oil on canvas painting and an easel. Everything is $20 each.

The oil on canvas measure measures 24 x 18

I bought this giant poster this weekend from a mid century sale in Rochester Hills.
The artist is Gustav Klimt
The painting is called Der Kuss - the kiss ( 1907 to 1908)

Mine is from an art gallery showing I believe in Austria 1972

Story time. I have a lot of stories. Here’s one of them.
For those who don’t know, my dad died when he was young and I was young. He died when he was 47 years old.

I was at the Lapeer flea market and I bought a bunch of old ice fishing poles. This particular pole said Ron Finkbiner seneweing mi. I asked my mom isn’t this dad‘s old hunting buddy. My dad was friends with Ron’s father. They had some hunting camps. My mom said I don’t know. My mom went to an address book she had from 1966 1967 when she got married. It turns out this was my dad‘s old hunting buddy.

In that address book, my mom found $5000-$6000 in uncashed savings bonds. My mom totally forgot they were in this book from 50 years ago.

That’s the story. Right time right place.
