Ready, set, summer! Yesterday got up into the 80's in Rochester, NY. If you want to see happy people, come to Rochester on the first semi hot day of the year. Pure joy!

The lake house is complete and just waiting for lazy summer days to begin.

How do you make a space uniquely your own? Add pieces that have meaning to you from your travels, your family, or anything that speaks to you specifically.

The beautiful custom bookcase in this living room is filled with objects that have meaning and are just special to the client.

Bottles of sand from beaches they have traveled to around the world, a purple glass ashtray from a grandmother, and French drinking glasses passed down fill the shelves. Make your space uniquely yours with objects that speak to you.

When I see this bathroom I think of all the design details that went into making a classic yet modern and completely custom room. From the initial design adding a few more square footage than originally planned, to the custom vanity made to function and fit the space perfectly, to the scale and placement of the sconces.

The way the closet space flows into the bath seamlessly divided by a pocket door and another custom made drawer set, all details thought through by designer and client to create a space that works specifically for the way you live.

Keeping it simple in the bedroom. This room is all about neutrals for a calm space to relax at the end of the day. All the added texture of the raffia wrapped nightstand, wool rug, and linen bedding give it that extra special warmth.

Don't you just want to sit here for a long dinner with friends? This dining room is extra special with a custom dining table I designed for the client. It's walnut from their property in the Catskills!

Choosing materials with all the textures was of course intentional and bring a special warmth to this space. The wool rug, leather and wood chairs, and woven pendant add layers to the space.

The vintage bench and handmade prints were items my clients had in their original space and we were so happy to reuse these pieces.

Sometimes a design dilemma can bring forth the most incredible solution. Hence the floating dolomite vanity we created for this small powder bath. Now this small space packs a serious punch with the use of this beautiful stone that took us some time to search for. Once I saw this piece in a remnant yard, It was love at first sight. My favorite custom vanity so far!

This kitchen started as a complete blank slate as it’s a new addition to the home. We designed the space from the ground up to be light filled with new windows and doors. My clients love to cook, so the goal was a light, bright, and airy space with plenty of prep space, refrigerator drawers integrated into the cabinetry, and the showstopper… the Lacanche gas range with antique brass hardware! I could sit and stare at this range all day.

I'm excited to announce that Staci Pfeffer Interiors got a little makeover!

This interior design studio I started in 2019 has grown in all the best ways and in order to take on some of the amazing projects that are coming our way, we are expanding and also rebranding!

I wanted a more inclusive brand that can highlight all the talent we have at this design studio. With the help of the amazing Made by K our new brand naturally took shape and is ready to roll out. Welcome to Swell House!

Small changes make a huge impact in a space. Enter my go-to elements when transforming a room: lighting and paint!

The deep blue paint color by Benjamin Moore (Normandy) and structural light fixture from Lulu and Georgia give this room the luxe feel my client was looking for. Paired with original artwork by Alan Peckolick (www.alanpeckolick.com) the transformation is undeniable.
