Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Happy 250th birthday, America!

We really could not have asked for a more beautiful day to celebrate. The weather is perfect, and I am so thankful for a day to slow down, be with people we love, enjoy the sunshine, and make memories together.

Today has me feeling grateful for the freedoms we have, the people who have sacrificed so much, and the gift of living in a country where we can keep hoping, growing, and doing better together.

We had others, they just weren’t tracked.

Relay for life update!
Ken turned in at around 2:45am with 29 miles and a shot knee to take his 30 minute nap and couldn’t get up, so Amber took over walking so March of the Penguins always has someone on duty. He is now resting soundly in the tent. Thank you for the support you threw his way! We were all cheering him on!

Last year, I did the 22 hour club and the only way I was able to make it through the entire time was because of Marcia Clark with Heart and Sole Reflexology. She came throughout the day and into the night and back again the next morning.

This year, she is back and helping me out yet again. She is the only reason I have made it as long as I have in this walk!

Hour 7.5 into the relay, still going strong and headed into that 22 hours with great support and encouragement from those around!
Raymond with Rapid Reviews asked if he could join team March of the Penguins and is working on mile 22. He has been here since 9:00am helping get set up and has been a wonderful help and support to the relay team!
Also, look at our sponsor a penguin campaign. So many penguins we are marching for. Thank you for reaching out and helping us raise money for a great cause and one that is so near and dear to many hearts and families. This is proof we aren’t waddling alone in the world.

Photos from the day so far! Earlier got to walk a survivor caregiver lap with my mom and some customers of ours that showed up for it (also shout out to Teri and Pauline for hooking us up with a cooler full of chilled snacks!).
