A few weeks ago, I helped my in-laws clear out some old lumber from above their garage. Found this piece of walnut and decided to take it home. Today I made this cutting board out of it (16”x11.5”), and routed in a juice groove.

Always cool to find 30+ year old lumber and bring it back to life.

Last year, I made my first draped flag, and donated it to a local American Legion. Earlier this week, I spoke to the Legions Commander, who told me they auctioned the flag off at an event, making around $1800, all of which was then donated to a foundation working with veteran rehabilitation. Happy to support causes like this!
