I’ve envisioned these in my mind for months and yesterday, I finally gave them a go and I’ve gotta say, I’m absolutely in love with how they turned out.

After I shared one of them to my story here on the insta, a dear friend (💕📣 Indigo Roots Textiles | Heirloom Sustainable Fine Art) encouraged me to make more, so I did.

I’m really so proud of them and excited to bring them “home” with me to Charlotte to debut them Festival In The Park

The colors and woodgrains in my last few batches of shapes have just been oh so good. They’re rich and interesting and I can’t wait to share the wall art that they become. Make sure to stay tuned 👀

First pieces cut in the new workshop!

It’s taken months to get to this point. Semi-moving back in May, life got hectic (my mommom passed and then we had to deal with van troubles), traveling for markets, we finished moving in August, moved again a week and a half later (thankfully it was just down the street and around the corner), sail boat projects and whew, it’s been a lot. We blinked and summer was gone.

Shuffle, shuffle is a phrase we use a lot around here.

But we’re settled and finding our rhythm.

I didn’t get many shapes cut and sanded but it’s a start. The start of a very long to do and priority list for my upcoming markets.

Today’s Wildly in the Wild Wednesday is coming to you from Brooklyn, NY.
How sweet does this moon cutie look hanging in the window surrounded by all the plants on the windowsill?!
Not to mention, I love how it coordinates with and breaks up the straight lines of the brick building in the background.
