"Chalk of the Town" is my Chalk Art business I created to utilize my talent for decorating for YOUR special event, business location, or seasonal decor for your home. I ask that the chalkboards are provided by you, and I take care of the design. :-)
I currently use only regular chalk for my designs, and they are erasable and intended to be re-done at any time in the future. This makes them easy t
o change, embellish upon, and be re-done for upcoming events and for each season! Christmas 2013 was when my business first started taking off, and I had several satisfied clients have me do chalk art designs as Christmas gifts for family and friends. In 2014, I plan on promoting my designs for various holidays and seasons- including Valentine's Day, Easter, Spring, Summer break, 4th of July, Back to School, Fall, Harvest, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Holiday, and Christmas. I also have been involved with personal events; such as weekly Pregnancy chalkboards, wedding reception designs, and baby shower and bridal shower gifts. Chalkboards are available for purchase at Urban Farmgirl, located in Rockford, IL. I base my pricing off of the size of the chalkboard, and also level of difficulty of the design.
