Hooper's Orchard in Monroe, Maine has an astounding crop of apples, and we love to try to visit every year! We always grab our small Summit Pack and fill it with more apples than we need. And the apple c***r slushies are so refreshing (and did you peep that Scout + Bean sticker that has been on the slushie machine for years now?) It was a PERFECT fall day. 🍁🍂🍎

It’s been one week since Common Ground Country Fair and I’ve spent the past week sorting clothes for a community clothing swap, and helping to pick over half a ton of peppers to distribute to Midcoast families. It’s probably time to unpack the baskets and bowls I brought home from the fair, and offer them to you all! There are Pails, Analog Baskets, Catch All Bowls, Valet Trays, Ring Bowls, Lanyards, and Itty Bitty Keychains!

The Volunteer Celebration Night for Waldo County Bounty is one of my favorite things about the beginning of autumn. We converge at Half Hitch Flowers in Morrill and we each get to cut a bouquet of their beautiful blooms (thank you, Katherine!) and then eat pizza together and talk about the summer! It’s a nice breather before Common Ground Country Fair this weekend! Check out the Homesteading Basket of gorgeous flowers that I cut!
