I wanted to share the updates that I did to my sons home when I was visiting. These pictures were taken at 3 AM on my way out to head home. Sorry I didn’t get pictures when it was bright and cheery.
I’ll post a rundown of what I paid for the items in his home below.
All were Thrifted! I wanted to show you how you could pull together a room for very little money. I think it came together well. What do you think?

So I got back into town yesterday around 6 o’clock. Drop the car off at the airport and waited for my pick up, which was my husband! As you can see the place was deserted. He was only about 15 minutes late.

So instead of flying back home, I rented a car to take all my treasures with me. I still had a few left in my son‘s closet from two years ago when I was last in Florida.
I rented a minivan so I could let all the seats down and get my stuff in there. They needed the minivan for someone else and offered me a luxury vehicle instead.

Now let me tell you this thing is super comfortable, but I don’t like people telling me what to do and I definitely don’t like a car that tells me what to do. It’s screaming at me to stay in the lane! Keep both hands on the wheel! Keep your eyes looking forward! Ugh!😵‍💫😵‍💫

My two vehicles are super old school. One’s got over 200,000 miles and the other has close to 100,000 miles. I’m the only navigator when I’m driving those two.

In the meantime, this is gas station. I stopped at in Georgia called Magnolia plantation. It’s a cute gas station and no, nobody lives in the top part of this building. The girl said it was all storage. What a waste. It’s a huge upstairs section. The downstairs is full of you know Georgia souvenirs, pecans, and peach preserves.
