My custom scented goat milk soap bars have been delivered and Golden Forrest nailed it as always! They are beautiful and smell incredible. They still have a few weeks to fully cure, but Glory delivered them early so I could get my logo stamped into them.

It’s always wonderful to be able to support other small businesses with my small business needs. Golden Forrest has always been my go-to for their soap bars. The stamp with my logo was fabricated by City Welding in Rockville for another project a few years back and worked perfectly for these soap bars.

So, here is some BIG news! Starting next week the studio will carry Oak & Hive Wellness home and body products!🥰

This partnership is one that has been carefully and thoughtfully selected. As you all know, having safe, clean, nontoxic, luxury items for you and your home is the foundation of Rusted Root Co., however, there is only so much a girl can make. I needed another maker, someone who has put everything into their product and business for all of the right reasons. Someone who thinks through every detail to ensure the highest quality product for their customer. Thanks to a mutual friend, a few months of secretly researching (or social media stalking 😂), and a very meaningful afternoon of meeting one another and sharing our story, I knew I found that person.

Taylor is the founder, owner, and maker of Oak & Hive Wellness, and is from southern Indiana where she and her sweet family own a farm which provides the majority of ingredients for her products. I have personally tested just about every product she has and I can’t wait to be able to share the experience with my customers. Hands down, the BEST all natural home and body care line I have ever found! It helps that Taylor is an herbalist and a passionate research nerd like me.🤓

You will start to see her line in the studio in June with more items to come as I keep testing them on my own, but like I told Taylor, there isn’t anything I haven’t absolutely fallen in love with yet.

I feel that it’s important for business owners to engage in local, regional, and state efforts whenever they can. Even if just one effort at a time, it provides insight to community needs and resources, encourages strategic thinking, and allows you to be a part of the solution. West Central Indiana Partnership is certainly one I am proud to be a part of and represent the county I love. Our region is pretty amazing!

Just as I expected, the SIGNATURE SCENT goat milk soap bars made by Golden Forrest were a huge hit and customers are asking for more! My lovely small business neighbors are going to make more for me, but I want to include additional Rusted Root Co. custom scents. I need your help deciding which scents to start with. And don’t worry, SIGNATURE SCENT is a given!

This Whipped Hand Créme in SIGNATURE SCENT is flying off the shelf! I made another batch this week and have it ready for purchase in the studio. This 1 oz. jar is the perfect size to keep in your purse or car. A little goes a long way. $10 for this beautiful mixture of magic.

Thank you to all the teachers and nurses out there making a difference every day! Your work doesn’t end when the bell rings or the shift is over.
