I'm Betsy, the creative mind behind the business. I learned to knit in 2008, and it didn't take long for me to develop a passion for yarn and fiber. It is just amazing to essentially take two sticks and a long piece of string and make it become something completely different. Add in the endless color possibilities, and yarn is just magical! I always struggled to find the perfect colors for my proj
ects, and over the years I often found myself thinking, I could probably just dye my own! Fast forward to early 2017, with the support and love of my husband Justin, I finally took the plunge and began dyeing yarn in my kitchen. This is truly a labor of love, and I hope my yarns will inspire you to create something beautiful! Below is some helpful information about my process. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me! Dye Lot Information
Our yarns are hand dyed in small batches (no more than 6 skeins). We make every effort to duplicate colorways by following detailed recipes. However, the nature of hand dyeing often leads to variations between and within batches. To minimize the effect of such variation in your knitting or crocheting, it is recommended that you alternate skeins for a more uniform finished product. In addition, you should order as much yarn as you need for your project at once. If you need more than 6 skeins of a colorway, please contact us to see about placing a custom order. Depending on our dye schedule, larger batches might be possible. Washing Instructions
Although our yarns are all superwash and therefore machine washable, we recommend you hand wash all your finished items with a mild detergent to ensure longevity. Dye Information
We use professional grade color and wash fast dyes. Each skein is hand washed and rinsed after dyeing to ensure any excess dye is removed. As such, we recommend you wash your items separately during the first wash. If bleeding does occur, continue to wash the item separately until it rinses clear. Color Information
We make every effort to accurately represent the colors of our yarns. Read item descriptions carefully and note that due to settings on different monitors, the colors might appear different on your screen.
