TowMate started from its humble beginnings in the 1980's. Bryan Anderson, the founder of the company, was working in the storage pool business and often ran his own truck. Never asking his employees to do something that he wouldn't do, a call came one bitter cold night and off Bryan went. As he was working on the job a thought came to him, someone should manufacture and sell wireless tow lights so
that he would not need to spend so much time in the cold. Bryan headed to the office the next morning with thoughts running through his mind and different ideas of what could be done with this product. He did his diligent research and found that no one was currently selling wireless tow lights and the designing began. Bryan set out on a mission, to make it an easier task to use tow lights and to change the way the world tows. Fast forward a few short years and several designs and prototypes later and TowMate is going strong. Bryan's goal of changing the towing world is going and growing strong with customers located all around the world. TowMate began with just one product and has since grown to offer more than 50 wireless and emergency lighting systems. Most products can be customized for customer specific needs. All of TowMates products are made or assembled in the USA and are backed by a lifetime warranty on electronics and LED's. Everything TowMate has been working towards has begun to culminate in 2011. From the expansion of our dealer network making the procurement of products and services a hassle free experience, to the refinement of existing product lines, to the development of new technologies for safety lighting systems, we have dedicated all of our resources to making our products more reliable, more versatile, and more available to our customers. Our current electronics achieve a better range than ever before (over 1,000 feet!) and are made to be compatible with our iMON interactive monitoring system that informs you if you leave your light behind in addition to other features. The latest endeavor TowMate has set upon is the development of the Power-Link power line technologies. This technology makes installation of any kind of safety lighting easier than ever by eliminating the need to run wires all the way from a given safety light to its respective controller in the cab. With Power-Link technologies, you have the power to completely customize the way your vehicle is seen with minimal effort required.
