Spent some time at Kindig-it Design in Salt Lake City taking in their remarkable work. Getting a close look at four of their custom CF1 Corvettes—including the award-winning, V-12 powered "TwelveAir" and the recently completed custom 1967 Camaro this experience was an incredible reminder of what high-level craftsmanship looks like. The metalwork, lines, and custom upholstery details on these builds set a masterclass standard for the industry.

Took on a unique challenge with this 1994 Chevy 60/40 bench seat restoration!
GM constructed these 1988–1994 truck & SUV seats using a laminated foam process where the factory maroon cloth was heat-fused directly to the cushion. Stripping the original material cleanly without destroying the underlying foam requires serious patience and precision.
Since this truck is being built out as a Days Creek, Oregon fire engine brush truck with a center console for emergency controls, we modified the seat frame to ensure smooth forward and rearward sliding.
Every pattern was custom-built from scratch, and listing wires/pulls were installed into the foam for a tight, factory-fresh fit. Wrapped in heavy-duty Olympus vinyl in Desert Tan from Keyston Bros to match the original interior tone, this setup is ready to get back to work.

Total interior transformation complete on this 2013 Ford Mustang Convertible! We replaced the original gray leather with a sleek, custom black-and-red Katzkin leather package.

Excited to share one of our latest custom upholstery projects: a race-inspired bench seat for a 700+ horsepower 1970 Chevy C10.

Starting with a modified painted steel frame, I built and hand-shaped high-density foam from scratch, adding raised bolsters designed to keep the driver firmly planted. The seat features a sharp two-tone finish using Cheyenne vinyl—a lighter "Gravel" gray for the double-stitched diamond inserts, paired with a darker "Coal" gray along the bolsters, sides, front edges, and back.

Thrilled with how this clean, performance-focused piece came together. I’d love to know what you think!

Just this weekend I finished re-upholstering these semi-truck seats for a wonderful customer of mine Tyler owner of Tyler Picknell Trucking of Roseburg Oregon.
I upholstered these low back bucket seats using Naugahyde RU900 Rogue Flint light gray colored vinyl along with a Peterbuilt light gray fabric on the inserts with sewn in singe stitch large diamonds. I also added 1” of memory foam on the seats to add that extra touch comfort for the drivers.

I have been making lots of Diamonds lately.. that is sewing lots of diamonds into seats and door panels completed the front & rear seats along with the door panels, rear side panels and sun visors using a heavy duty Cheyenne rustic, artisan leather looking green pine needle color vinyl from my supplier Keyston Bros on this 1974 Dodge Charger for a wonderful customer of mine.
