THE MOST MONUMENTAL PIECE WE'VE EVER OFFERED.
This is not just another addition to the collection. This is the kind of piece that comes along once in a lifetime — if you're lucky.
Straight from Madagascar, arriving as part of our Reserve Collection: a petrified wood statement piece weighing an extraordinary **96 lbs** and standing nearly 19 inches tall. But what sets this piece apart from anything we've ever curated isn't just its commanding scale. It's the amethyst.
Amethyst can occasionally form within cavities in fossilized wood — but pieces where the purple crystal growth becomes this substantial, this visually dominant, are extraordinarily uncommon. Here, the amethyst extends through a broad section of the stone, with large areas of pale to medium purple crystal clearly visible from multiple angles. Their cool luminosity set against the rich reds, burgundies, golden browns, and smoky greys of the fossilized wood creates a contrast that has to be seen to be believed.
This is irreplaceable. There is no backup. There is no second one waiting in a warehouse. When this piece finds its home, it's gone — and the likelihood of another like it crossing our path again is slim to none.
Centuries in the making. Extensively polished to reveal layers of color that read as natural sculpture. Equally suited to a serious mineral or fossil collection or as a singular focal point in a luxury interior. This is the exact piece you will receive.
