Yesterday we sent a trailer load of Shaw Ecoworks Carpet Tile to be recycled and we will be shipping another one in the near future.

According to a study conducted by the Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE), recycling one ton of carpet tiles can save up to 4.45 metric tons of CO2 equivalent emissions.

Recycling carpet
-Reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills
-Eliminates the need to the extract and process of virgin materials
-Reduces the energy required to manufacture new carpet

Recycling carpet tiles can save water and reduce the use of chemicals in the manufacturing process.

Therefore on this earth day 2023 we would like to remind everybody that we only have one planet with finite resources and it is in the best interest of Humanity that we preserve it for future generations, by recycling not only carpet, but also all of the associated construction materials which would ordinarily wind up in big holes in the ground polluting our environment for years to come.
