🎂 I was just 19 years old and knew nothing about being an adult—let alone a mother. I had to learn quickly. I was terrified, wondering how in the world I could take care of this precious baby boy when I still felt like a child myself.

Yes, I made many mistakes. I wasn’t the perfect mom, and unfortunately, we don’t get a do-over. But despite it all, you turned out to be an amazing young man—and that means everything to me.

You were born on December 17, 2007, at 5:50 p.m., weighing 6 pounds, 9.3 ounces, and measuring 20¾ inches long. From the moment I held you, my life changed forever.
I could not be more proud of the young man you have become. Now it’s time for a new chapter for both of us. You’re learning how to navigate adulthood, and I’m learning how to navigate being the mother of an adult child.

Happy 18th Birthday. I love you more than you will ever know. 💙
