Had the pleasure of spending the week with my best guys and of course I had to bring projects to work on between beach time. The weather was so perfect that I didn’t stay indoors very much! Still a productive makers week. Mini quilt improvised using ocean pearls fabric collection from Seaside Quilting Supplies ❤️

For the few who think I’m pretty good at making things “right off the hop” … may I introduce you to my five pound sourdough frisbee 😂
Not everything I try turns out but it’s all part of a makers life. There are ups (as in good risen bread) and downs (as in deflated bread). 3 days of babysitting this one only to make croutons!

Adventures in sourdough! I’m a few years behind the trend and I must have ignored all the chatter about it because I had no idea how involved the process can be 🥹 But after 3 days I actually have a loaf cooling on the rack! The learning curve has been steep and who knows if it was a success - I won’t know until I get to cut it but she’s pretty!! I made some “discard” cheese crackers that are so good. Think cheese-it’s but so much better 😉 Billy approved.
