Happy August! I've decided, for personal reasons, to close down my booth at City Antiques. Fortunately for my wonderful customers - this is a good thing for you guys! Libby with The Artful Garden has received approvals to carry both Debi's DIY and Iron Orchid Designs and will be moving into a space at City Antiques on September 1! I am a furniture artist that sells vintage, repurposed and reimagined furniture and decor in Roswell, Georgia. I have a booth at City Antiques and Interior Arts where you will find wonder mix of handpainted work and unique pieces. I also retail DIY Paint (best in the world), Paint Pixie brushes, and WoodUbend applications.
I love being at home and creating the space you want to be with the people you love. The design - furniture and lighting and color and flowers and all things that make a home feel inviting, comfortable and a place you want to spend time and enjoy with the folks you love. I call it nesting.
When I was younger I always loved creating things! The adult, professional, corporate suit and heels me did not have time to be crafty. I kept buying the stuff and then did not have time to do anything with it. I did the same with the gym (paying for the membership does not mean you have time to go)... Now - I have time! (note: for the crafting, not the gym)...
And I also love that there are so many people out there that are willing to share their wisdom and advice and talent - it's a constant reminder to be generous - there is more than enough love and happiness for everyone! Humble thanks to all of those people!
In my search for those people to provide advice and guidance I also found this wonderful paint that I’m honored to be able to bring to others in the area - DIY paint! If you are just starting out this is a wonderful medium and if you’ve got years of experience, this paint will let you get as creative and bold as your heart desires!
