Let's do a quick repair on this customers cover that was pooling water... (not originally made by our shop!)

Customer requested I fix their rotting wood, vinyl was surprisingly in good shape from being stored indoors. What happens on these older boats is the manufacturers cheap out in the weirdest areas. Marine ply for the flat parts, but literall 1/4" luan for the curves so they could bend it. To their defense, PVC wasn't really a thing back then. Also I hope boat builders start using new technology or ways to fasten pieces of wood together rather than 450 staples. I used my 3D printer to come up with a new way to bind these sections together.

Follow along as I make this customer a custom bow & cockpit cover for their bowrider. These covers look so much better than the trailer mooring covers, and they are easier to put on while the boat is docked in the water. This cover was made using Sunbrella marine canvas material. Also trying my hand out at an ASMR vibe video edit, although I forgot to record the entire installation process… oops!

Exciting news! We've received our new tags, and from now on, every upholstered piece leaving the shop will include this lovely finishing touch.

The QR code on the tag opens our site, and gives you care and cleaning instructions to help you keep your new piece looking its best. Our website is still growing, but you can already find some basic information there.
