To Our Friends and Colleagues in the Antique Community,
It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of William “Bill” Rawski, one of the true gentlemen and great merchants of the antique world.
For so many years, Bill represented everything admirable about this business –professionalism, integrity, generosity, and an extraordinary depth of knowledge that he shared so willingly with others. He was not only a remarkable dealer, but also a mentor, a trusted colleague, and a genuine friend to countless people throughout the industry.
In a field where experience and wisdom are treasured, Bill stood among the very best. His eye, his passion, and his unwavering dedication to quality earned him the respect of all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. Yet beyond his accomplishments, it was his kindness, warmth, and generous spirit that made him truly unforgettable.
The antique world has lost one of its finest gems. His legacy will continue through the many people he inspired, encouraged, and taught over the years.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all those whose lives and careers were touched by his remarkable presence.
With deepest sympathy,
Paul Michael
