I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow at the Mt. Nebo Chicken Fry! There are some great River Valley small businesses that will be set up and don't forget to pick up your chicken dinner after shopping!

As many of you know my full time job is teaching and students return tomorrow. I do plan on having fresh bread at both events but may not have the quantity that I usually have. It will be a busy week but I am looking forward to seeing you in Morrilton for the Main Street Morrilton Farmers Market on Thursday or Mt Nebo for the 77th Annual Mt Nebo Chicken Fry on Saturday.

We have two new items this week by request. The first is a loaded bread - cheese, jalapeños, and bacon! The next is a blackening season that the test kitchen, aka Tim and Alexis Scroggins, says is ready for the market! The bayou blend can go on your fish, shrimp, or chicken. This will compliment our hushpuppies perfectly. We have sold our mini chocolate chip peanut butter cakes at other markets and venues but not Dardanelle so we will have some of those for you to enjoy also. We will be at New Dardanelle Farmers Market from 8-1 tomorrow. Drop by and say hi!

Round 1 of jalapeño cheesy bread is finished for the Hillbilly Hootenanny tomorrow at Hillbilly Slim's! We will also have some garlic cheesy bread, nothing fancy sandwich bread, our delicious mini cakes including the hummingbird cake. If you need to stock the pantry with some good food we can help you there as well.

Six pints of roasted salsa canned this evening, thanks dad, Raymond Cain, for doing all of the prep work! Then a great tasting bacon and tomato sandwich on freshly baked bread, yum!
