She wasn’t on my list that day.
But there she was, tucked quietly among louder things under a blanket of time and dust ~ waiting.
I saw her worn fabric first… soft, faded and full of another life. Then the gentle curve of her frame, the way her wheels still carried a quiet dignity. And just like that, she had me.
I imagined the small hands that once pushed her. The tiny treasures she carried. The stories she held without ever needing to tell them.
So I brought her home. Not to make her new, but to honor what she’s already been.
I showered her with love (and Feed-n-Wax) and now she sits, just as she should… a little piece of yesterday, ready to be loved again.
If you’re the kind of person who feels something when you see her, you’ll understand. 💛
